NEW LONDON, WISC., March 16, 2016 – CHS Larsen Cooperative is proud to announce that we have awarded five $500 Annual Meeting Mini Grants. This is the first year CHS Larsen Cooperative has offered the Annual Meeting Mini Grants. The Board of Directors wanted to offer an incentive to those cooperative members that attend the annual meeting. All attendees had the chance to apply for a grant to support an organization or benefit, which the members have a strong passion towards.
There are so many organizations and benefits in the communities CHS services that this was an opportunity to receive some funding for those events. CHS Larsen Cooperative’s trade territory continues to expand and they have felt the need to return support to the communities that help support their cooperative.
The grants were awarded to the following: Carol Ihde of Neenah to help fund the Christmas Dinner for the under privileged; Ralph and Helen Timm of Appleton to fund programs of the NAMI Fox Valley, which supports children and teens struggling with mental health and emotional challenges; Ardyce Eisentraut of Waupaca to help fund the Peaceful Hand Quilt Guild who make charity quilts that go within the community; Debi Bartel of Weyauwega whom supports the Old Glory Honor Flight which provides a memorial experience for WWII Veterans; and New London Veterans’ Memorial Foundation who are working on a tribute site in New London for all Veterans.
CHS Larsen Cooperative is proud to support our communities and help these organizations.
